International Shipping Guide ~Master Shipping Methods and Fee Calculations in One Go!~
When using a proxy buying service, it's important to consider not just the price of the item itself, but also the shipping method and international delivery fees.
In this article, we’ll introduce the eight main international shipping options offered by BEX Market to help you choose the method that best suits your needs.
The international shipping methods supported by BEX Market are as follows:
- EMS (Express Mail Service)
- International Parcel Post (Airmail)
- International Parcel Post (Surface mail)
- Economy Air (SAL) ※Currently suspended
- Small Packets
- FedEx
- DHL
- Yamato Transport(UPS)
Shipping Methods – Japan Post

Japan Post offers five international shipping methods, which we’ll introduce one by one:
1 EMS (Express Mail Service)
2 International Parcel Post (Airmail)
3 International Parcel Post (Surface Mail)
4 Economy Air (SAL) ※Currently suspended
5 Small Packets (International Small Package)
Please note that the available shipping services may vary depending on your country or region. You can check which services are supported in your area at the following link:

1 EMS (Express Mail Service)
EMS (Express Mail Service) is an international express delivery service provided by Japan Post. It allows you to send documents or parcels weighing up to 30 kg to over 120 countries and regions worldwide. The estimated delivery time is around 2 to 5 business days, though this may vary slightly depending on the destination. Actual delivery times may be affected by factors such as transportation schedules, customs processing, and local delivery conditions.

2 International Parcel Post (Airmail)
International Parcel Post (Airmail) is an international mail service that delivers parcels by air. The maximum weight limit is 30 kg, though this may vary depending on the destination country. Since the parcels are transported by air, the cost is relatively higher, but delivery typically takes around 3 to 6 business days.

3. International Parcel Post (Surface mail)
International Parcel Post (Surface Mail) is an international mail service that delivers parcels by sea. The maximum weight limit is also 30 kg (though this may vary depending on the destination country). While the delivery time is longer, typically taking 1 to 3 months, the cost is relatively lower, making it ideal for items that are not urgently needed.

4 Economy Air (SAL) ※Currently suspended
SAL (Surface Air Lifted) is a shipping method that falls between sea mail and airmail. It is delivered by air, but with a lower priority, making it faster than sea mail but cheaper than airmail. However, compared to standard airmail, the delivery time is slightly longer. Additionally, SAL service is only available for specific countries and regions. It takes approximately 6 to 13 days for mail to arrive at the destination.
※Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Japan Post has suspended all SAL (Surface Air Lifted) shipments. As a result, BEX Market is currently unable to offer this shipping option. We appreciate your understanding.

5 Small Packets
Small Packets are ideal for sending small, lightweight items weighing up to 2 kg. The shipping cost is lower compared to EMS or international parcels, and the delivery speed can be chosen based on your needs. If the item is not urgent and you're looking to save on international shipping fees, this is a highly recommended shipping option.

About International Shipping Fees
International shipping fees are determined by the size and weight of the goods, as well as additional charges such as handling fees and customs duties, making it difficult to provide a one-size-fits-all estimate. For a more accurate understanding of the overall shipping cost, we recommend using the BEX Market Fee Simulation below to estimate the approximate fees and delivery time:

By simply entering the destination country/region and the details of the goods, you can instantly view the prices for different shipping methods, along with a breakdown of the various charges.
