    Creating/Editing a User Account

  1. Account Registration
  2. To use BEX Market, you need to register an account.

    1. Register with an email address
      1. On the account registration page, enter your email address, name, and password.
        Click "Sign Up" to proceed.

      2. You will receive a registration confirmation email at the email address you entered.

        Click the URL in the email to complete the authentication process and you can log in to BEX Market.

    2. Register with a SNS account
    3. You can use your Facebook, X, Google, or other social media accounts to register for BEX Market.

       

      1. On the account registration page, select the social media platform you want to use.

      2. Log in using your selected social media account.
      Below is the screenshot for a Google account.

      3. Once registration is complete, you will be redirected to the homepage, logged in with your new account.

  3. Editing Account Information
  4. You can edit your registered account information from My Account.

     

    How to access My Account

     

    1. Click on your account name to display the menu, then select "My Account".

    2. Your account page will be displayed.

    1. Change Personal Information
      1. Click on "Change Personal Information" from "Member Information Settings" on your account page.

      2. You can update your personal information, email preferences, and shipping address.

    2. Change password
      1. Click "Change Password" from "Member Information Settings".

      2. Enter your current password and new password.

        Passwords should be 8 to 20 characters long and contain alphanumeric characters.

       

    3. Change payment method
      1. Click "Change Payment Method" from the "Member Information Settings"

      2. You can change your registered credit card information or register a new credit card.

    How to Purchase Products

  1. Purchase products on BEX Market
  2. BEX Market lets you search and purchase your desired products from popular EC malls and feal market sites in Japan.

     

    1. Enter keywords into the search bar and choose the online malls/ flea markets you want to search.
    If nothing is selected, the search will be applied to all sites.
    If you wish to further narrow down your search, you can select "Category" to search for products within the relevant category.

    2. A list of products that hit your search will be displayed.
    Click on the product of your choice in the product list.

    3. The product detail screen will be displayed.
    Select the desired size, color, etc., and click "Add to cart".

    4. Once you have added products to your cart, select the products you want to purchase and click "Proceed to checkout".

    5. On the checkout page, enter your shipping information and select your payment method. Click "Proceed to payment" to complete your order.

    JDirectItems Auction Bidding Guide | Search, bid, and win the auction

     

    1.Find the product you want

     

     

     1.Enter the keyword or product name you are looking for in the search box.

     2. Please check "JDirectItems Auction" displayed under the search box.

     3.After entering the information, press the Search button to refine your search.

     

    2.Check product information

     

     Check the product page

     

       Click on the desired product from the search results to open the details page.

     

       Here, be sure to check the product description, starting price, bid increment, current maximum bid amount, bidding deadline, etc.

     

        * Depending on the seller, there may be restrictions on returns and cancellations, or shipping. Please be sure to check the notes on the product page.
        * If the item is prohibited and cannot be shipped, we may contact you to notify you that your bid is not accepted.

     

    3.Setting your bid

     

     

      -Please enter a bid amount that is equal to or greater than the current maximum bid amount and in the bid increment (e.g. 100 yen increments).

     

        (The bid amount is automatically entered according to the bid unit. Please enter your desired bid amount based on the listed amount.)

     

       *Cancellations or changes cannot be accepted after a bid has been made. Please set your bid amount carefully.

       *Win Now for Buyout Price」is only displayed when the seller has set a buyout price.

     

     Check the bid details

     

      -After entering your bid amount on the product page, click the "Place Bid" button.

      -Select payment method and shipping address

          After placing a bid, select the following information on the screen that appears:

         - Payment method (select from registered payment methods)

         - Shipping information (enter registered address or new address)

       *Refunds and partial refunds will be processed, in principle, within one business day after the auction ends.

     

     Final confirmation and confirmation of the contents 

     

      -Please check that your selection is correct and then press the "Confirm Bid" button.

      -Completing a bid and receiving a confirmation email

         When your bid is successfully completed, you will receive an email to your registered email address informing you that your bid has been completed.

         At this point, your bid has not been confirmed. Please check the auction status on your My Page.


     

    4.Bidding results

     

      -When the auction ends, the highest bidder will be the successful bidder.

      -When you receive an email from BEX Market notifying you of your successful bid, please follow the instructions to proceed with the secondary payment and shipping procedures.


     

    About bidding types

     

     Win Now for Buyout Price 

          This is the amount at which you can win the auction immediately if you place a bid at the specified price.

        You can purchase the item on the spot without waiting for the auction to end.

       * "Win Now for Buyout Price" is only displayed when the seller has set a buyout price.
          Once a bid is made at the Buy It Now price, the auction will end.

     

     Auto-bidding This function automatically repeats bidding by inputting a budget limit (= maximum bid amount) in advance.

     How automated bidding works:

     

       1.You will automatically bid up to the maximum amount set in auto bidding against the current price.

       2.Even if other bidders appear, you will automatically bid again until your maximum bid amount is reached.

       3.The bidder who ultimately set the highest maximum bid amount will be the successful bidder.

       4.However, the actual amount paid will be the second highest bid amount + bid increment (= second price method).

     

       *Second price method 

              The actual successful bid price (amount paid) is the “second highest bid” plus the “bidding increment (bidding range).

        (Example) Person A: Maximum bid 200,000 yen (set by automatic bidding)

                     Person B: Highest bid: 160,000 yen

                        Bid increment (bidding range): 1,000 yen

        In this case, Mr. A will be the successful bidder, but the actual payment amount will be 161,000 yen (not the full 200,000 yen).

     

      *Sniping Bid – A feature that automatically places a bid approximately five minutes before the auction ends. 

        By waiting until the end of the auction to place a bid, you can avoid competition with other bidders and increase your chances of winning. 

        As with regular bidding, enter your desired amount in the "Bid Price" field and click "Sniping Bid."


     

    Advantages of Sniping Bid:
    -Free to use (※Regular proxy purchase fees and item costs apply if you win the auction)
    -Can be used together with regular bids on the same item

     

    Sniping Bids will be considered invalid (treated as canceled) in the following situations:

     1. A higher bid than your set sniping amount is placed before yours

     2. The seller deletes or withdraws the item

     3. If a Sniping Bid is scheduled within the final 5 minutes of the auction, it may not be submitted in time due to system constraints

     

     In the case of an auction where multiple items are listed

        

          If there are two or more items for one listing, you can specify "bidding conditions".

       Depending on your preference, you can choose one of the following

     

       -Bid even if quantity is small 

           > Choose this if you don't want to win the bid unless you can get all the items you want.

       -Cancel if not available

           > Select this option if you want to purchase as much as you can, even if you don't have the amount you want.

  5. What to do if you can't find the item you want on BEX Market
  6. If you cannot find the product you want on BEX Market, please send us information about that product. We will find you the exact one or a similar product based on your request.

     

    1. Click on "Other Shops" in the search store section.

    2. Fill out the product information with details. You can also select options if the product is no longer in stock.
    Please choose according to your preference.

    3. We will search for the product based on product information.
    If the product is available for purchase, you will receive a payment request via email.
    You can also check the payment information from your order list.

    Please note that we do not offer authenticity verification for the items you wish to purchase.

    4. Proceed to the payment page and complete the payment of your order.

    Forwarding Service

  1. Identity Verification
  2. Identity verification is required to use the forwarding service.
    Under Japan's "Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds," effective from April 1, 2013, all mail forwarding services providers are required to verify the identity of customers using their services. For more details, please refer to the National Police Agency's page .

    1. Document Preparation
      1. Please prepare two documents to verify your identity:

        Your name and date of birth must be clearly shown in the document.
        *An edited or redacted photo cannot be accepted.
        Passport, National ID Card, Driver's License, Insurance Card, Foreigner Work Permit Certificate, Resident Certificate,Family Register Certificate, Residence Card for Foreign Residents, etc.

        Your name and current address must be clearly shown in the document.
        *The current address must be the same as the address registered in your member information. An edited or redacted photo cannot be accepted. Utility bills (electricity, water, gas), Mobile phone bills, Bank statements. Credit card statements, etc.

    2. Document Submission
      1. Click on "Verify Your Identity" from "Member Information Settings" on My Account.

      2. Please carefully read the instructions on the document upload page before uploading and submitting your documents.

    3. Verification
      1. We will verify the identification documents that you submitted.
        If there are no issues with the submitted, your verification will be done.
        If there are discrepancies or incomplete information, we may request you to resubmit or provide additional documents.

  3. From Purchase to Shipping Request
    1. Purchase products on external sites
      1. Find the product you want to buy on your favorite online shopping site.

    2. Enter BEX address
    3. Enter BEX address in the shipping address information during your purchase.
      BEX address is the designated address to which your membership number is assigned.
      Your membership number starts with BXXXX.

      Please enter the following information for the shipping address when you purchase a product.

    4. Product Arrival Notification
    5. Once the purchased items arrive at the BEX Market warehouse, we will notify you of their arrival.

    6. Shipping Request
    7. You can make a shipping request for the product after receiving the arrival notification.
      For more details, refer to "About Shipping" below.

    About Shipping

  1. International Shipping Fee Simulation
  2. Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country, shipping method, and the size/weight of the products.
    If you want to check shipping costs before ordering the product, you can calculate the shipping cost on the International Shipping Fee Simulation page.

    Enter the destination country/ region and the size/ weight of the product to check the cost for each shipping method.
    You can also select other options to simulate the costs.

    *The simulation will be more accurate if you enter the correct box size and the weight of the packing materials.

  3. Storage Period
  4. You will receive an email notification when your products arrive at BEX Market.
    When you receive the notification email, the status of your products on BEX Order will change to "Ready for Shipping."

     

    There is no storage fee for the first 60 days after your products arrives at our warehouse.


    *If no shipping request is made within 60 days after the products arrive, BEX reserves the right to sell, dispose of, or take other actions regarding the product at our discretion.

  5. Consolidated Packing
  6. At Bex Market, you can consolidate multiple products that have arrived into one shipment.
    If you wish to ship multiple products to your home, combining them into one shipment will reduce shipping costs rather than shipping each product separately.
    When your products arrive at the warehouse, select the products you want to combine from your account page.

     

    1. After selecting the package, click "Request package consolidation".

    2. Review your request details before submitting the consolidated packing request.

    BEX Market will prepare the consolidation process, and you can check the status of the request on My Account.

     

  7. Payment for shipping fee, options, etc.
    1. You will receive an email notification when your products arrive at BEX Market.
      You can view the details of the registered products from My Account.

    2. If you want to use consolidated packing, select the packages you want to consolidate and submit the request.

      *You can apply for consolidated packing if you have multiples packages arrived at our warehouse.
      *If you don't want to consolidate your packages, you can skip this step.

       

    3. Click "Ship" button next to the producrs you want to ship and proceed to the payment screen.

    4. Enter your payment information and select the shipping method.
      Check the total costs and complete the payment.

  8. Returns and Refunds
  9. Generally, we do not accept cancellations due to customer circumstances.
    If you receive a different product from what you ordered, or if the product is defective, please contact us via the Inquiry Form within 7 days of receiving the item.
    We will provide instructions on how to return the item or how to send it back.

    Other Important Notes

    There are no membership or annual fees.

    1. Proxy Purchase Handling Fee
    2. Flat service fee of JPY 300

      Purchasing multiple items simultaneously from the same shop listed on BEX Market: Service fee of JPY 300

      * If you purchase multiple items from the same shop, the service fee will be JPY 300.

      * For Mercari and Rakuma, a service fee will apply to each item when purchasing multiple items from the same seller.

    3. Forwarding Fee
    4. JPY 250 for 1 to 20 registered items per box
      JPY 350 for 21 items or more

    5. Domestic Shipping Fee
    6. Storage Fee
    7. Free Storage: 60 days
      *Products (or packages) stored for more than 60 days, according to our terms of service, we reserve the right to sell, dispose of, or take other actions regarding the product at our discretion. Please be aware of this policy.

    8. Insurance Fee
    9. If the total value of the product exceeds JPY 20,000, an insurance fee of JPY 50 will be added for every JPY 20,000.

    10. Optional Fee

        * You will be charged JPY 500 if you cancel the consolidated packing request.

      3. Photo Shooting

        This is a service to take photos of the packages that have arrived at the warehouse. 

         

      4. Content Removal

        This is a service to remove part of the contents from the products that have arrived at the warehouse.

         

      5. Disposal

        This is a service that allows the disposal of part or all of the products contained in the packages that have arrived at the warehouse.

    11. Customs Duty
    12. In addition to the above fees, customs duties may be charged at customs clearance depending on the receiving country.
      Customers are responsible for customs duties.

  3. About the maximum shipments that can be shipped in a day
  4. For international shipments, the maximum value of packages that can be shipped in one day is JPY 200,000.
    If the shipment exceeds this amount, customs clearance procedures will be required.

    If the total value of all shipments exceeds JPY 200,000, we will ship the packages on subsequent business days.
    If you prefer single shipment, a customs handling fee of JPY 2,800 will be charged.

  5. About prohibited or dangerous goods
  6. The following items cannot be forwarded.

     

    Frozen, Refrigerated, and Perishable Items

    All packages are stored at room temperature. Frozen, refrigerated, and perishable items cannot be forwarded as their quality cannot be guaranteed.

    Legally Regulated / Restricted Items

    Restricted items such as adult goods and pornography, child pornography, diamonds (both raw and processed), counterfeit currency, postage stamps and revenue stamps, official documents, national cultural treasures, important cultural assets, pirated CDs/DVDs/software, items of unknown origin, lottery tickets, cash, gift certificates, food & drink vouchers

     

    Hazardous Materials / Chemical Substances

    Aerosols, high-pressure gas, gas (gas cylinders, cassettes), gas lighters, portable oxygen inhalers, liquid gas, helium gas, freon gas, nitrogen/liquid nitrogen, small oxygen generators, oxygen cylinders (aqualung), High-Concentration Oxygen Infusion,spray cans (hairspray, deodorant spray, lacquer spray, Air Salonpas, etc.),Camping Gas Products (e.g., Portable Gas Stove), Fire Extinguisher, Flammable Materials/Liquids, Fuel (Gasoline, Kerosene),Matches,Fire Starter

     

    Biological / Food-Related Items

    Living organisms (including animals, insects, and plants), items with attached soil, bonsai trees, ornamental plants, live bait, meat products, pet food, raw milk, eggs, Cooking Oil,items requiring frozen or refrigerated storage, fresh produce, plant seeds, insect specimens, taxidermy, alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content exceeding 70% (however, depending on the country, import regulations may prohibit even those with an alcohol content below 70%), and items restricted for export under the Washington Convention (CITES), including flora and fauna, ivory, tortoiseshell, fur, crocodile leather, snake skin, and lizard skin etc.

     

    Medicines / Health-Related Products

    Pharmaceuticals and medical devices requiring a sales license in Japan (including contact lenses, fashion color contact lenses, massage devices, and hearing aids)

     

    Batteries

    Batteries, rechargeable batteries, lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries (including lithium-ion batteries), and products containing lithium batteries or lithium-ion batteries (excluding certain countries)

     

    Vehicles / Automotive-Related Items

    Vehicles (automobiles, motorcycles, motorized bicycles, bicycles with tires designed in a way that prevents air from being released from the tire tubes, etc.), air conditioners, car airbags, handlebars with airbags, containers/cans/gasoline tanks/carburetors for fuel or oil, seatbelt pretensioners

     

    Drugs / Hazardous Substances

    Psychoactive drugs, illegal drug inhalation devices, stimulants, opium, poppy seeds, anesthetics and related drugs, poisons, highly toxic substances and harmful chemicals, insecticides, tobacco, insect repellents, pesticides, organic solvents, corrosive substances, mercury (including mercury-containing batteries, thermometers, blood pressure monitors, barometers, etc.), chloroform, bleach, peroxides/oxidizers, charcoal, dry ice, asbestos, uranium, plutonium, thorium, nuclear waste, radioactive substances, sodium hydroxide, barium carbonate, formalin/formaldehyde, harmful drugs,Thinner

    Magnets, generators/engines, toner cartridges for printers, ink, printer ink (some may require customs documentation for shipping, and certain documents may not be able to be prepared by our company)

  7. About shipping method
  8. There are eight shipping methods available:

     

    - EMS (Express Mail Service)
    - International Parcel (Air Mail)
    - International Parcel (Surface Mail)
    - SAL (Surface Air Lifted Mail)
    - Small packet
    - FedEx
    - DHL
    - Yamato Transport (UPS)

  9. Estimated time from order to shipment
  10. - From order date to arrival at BEX Market warehouse: Approximately 1-3 business days.
    *Shipping methods and timing differ depending on the shopping site. Please check with the shop for details
    You will receive a notification email within 1 business day after your package arrives at BEX Market warehouse.
    - From completion of payment to shipping at BEX Market: 1-2 business days.
    *This may take a few days depending on the customer's options.
    - From shipments by BEX Market to arrival at customer's address: 2-5 business days (for EMS).
    This may vary depending on the destination country/ region. Additionally, customs inspections may take a few days, depending on the contents of your package.

  11. About Using the Auction Feature
  12. BEX Market Auction Usage Guidelines

     

    1. Service details

     This service is an intermediary service in which BEX Market handles bidding and winning bids on behalf of domestic auctions in Japan, and delivers purchased  products to customers.

     We handle everything from negotiating with auction sellers and processing payments, to temporary storage in our domestic warehouse and international shipping.
     

    2. Listing Condition and Warranty

     Many of the auction items are second-hand goods, and the product descriptions are provided by the sellers themselves.

     Therefore, there is no guarantee from a third party regarding the condition or authenticity of the product.

     Please make sure you have no questions about the product condition or description before using the product.

     

    3. Fees and Taxes

     -In addition to the successful bid price, we will charge a BEX Market service fee (JPY 300).

     -If the auction price does not include consumption tax, you will be required to pay consumption tax in addition to the listed price when you make a successful bid.

     -Domestic and international shipping charges will also be charged separately at actual cost.
     

    4. Billing and Refunds after a Successful Bid

     Once the bid is successful, the actual winning bid price will be determined and the amount you will be charged will be finalized.

     In the unlikely event that there is a difference between the amount you anticipated when placing your bid and the actual winning bid price, we will refund the  difference the next business day.

     

    5. Bid cancellation is not permitted

     Once you have placed a bid, you cannot cancel or change the amount.

     When a successful bid is made, you will be obligated to pay the full amount including the winning bid price, shipping and handling fees.

     

    6. Combining multiple winning bids

     If multiple items are purchased from the same seller between 【18:00 and 17:59 (Japan time, next day)】, we will request that the items be shipped together whenever possible.

     However, there may be cases where combined shipping is not possible due to the seller's circumstances or system issues. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees.

     

    7. Prohibited Items and Shipping Restrictions

     Please refrain from bidding on products that violate laws, regulations, or international transport regulations (weapons, medicines, dangerous goods, etc.).

     You may not be able to bid on items containing lithium batteries, flammable materials, or large items (weight over 30 kg, with a maximum length of 150 cm, etc.).

     

    8. Warehouse storage period

     Your successful bid items will be stored in BEX Market's domestic warehouse for up to 60 days.

     If the storage period is exceeded, a disposal fee will be charged.

     

    9. Product inspection and photography services

     If, after inspecting the product, we find anything significantly different from the product description, we will return the product to the seller and negotiate a refund.

     However, the possibility of negotiation and the outcome may vary depending on the seller's judgment.

     Please note that domestic shipping fees are not refundable.

     

    10. Customer Support Hours

     -Negotiations with sellers/response to inquiries: 9:00-18:00 Japan time (excluding weekends and holidays)

     -For inquiries outside the above hours, we will respond from the next business day.
